Our sales policy!
As of April 16th of 2025, this is our updated sales policy. Make sure to read this all completely and thoroughly.
We at Aspen Falls Rabbitry raise pedigreed and purebred Holland Lops. Rabbits posted will be able to go once they reach 8-12 weeks old. We have the first pick of every litter born here. We cannot and do not guarantee any of the rabbits we sell will win any legs or grand champions in shows. We also do not guarantee they will get along/bond with pairs or trios.
Pedigrees*
Most of our adults are pedigreed, but not all of the kits will be go with a pedigree. We do not charge more for a pedigree, we do not charge less if a kit doesn't go with one. However, If a kit is reduced to a pet home it will not be sold with a pedigree. A pet home is always my preferred type of home.
If you want a pedigree for your kit (and It can be pedigreed) you must tell me you want one- before the kit goes home. And you must have a name for the kit so I can properly make the pedigree. I will not make up a pedigree weeks/months after a kid goes home, realistically things move fast and there's no guarantee 5 months later I'll remember what pairing the kit is from. So make sure if you do want one, you ask before the kit goes home. Pedigrees are mainly for breeding so if it's just a pet the paper would be useless. DO NOT change the rabbit's prefix, all of the kits born here will be born with the prefix "Aspen's". You can choose the name, the prefix stays the same. Example, "Aspen's Elliot".
Reservation fee*
We require a deposit to hold a rabbit, which is a nonrefundable (see more below) $50 PER RABBIT. The remaining amount is due in cash/venmo/cashapp at pickup. We do not take offers or bids and will not change the price for the kit unless we want to. We take the reservation fee through cashaspp, Venmo or Apple Pay. We can also take it in person, in cash, if you'd rather meet the kit before placing said deposit. The reservation fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, which means you will not receive it back if you decide to backout - at any time, for any reason. The deposit is non-transferable to any other kit either. If you decide you don't want the kit, you lose the deposit.
**The only exception to this, is if the kit dies IN our care. In the event of the kit dying here, I will fully refund your deposit back OR you can choose to transfer it to another kit. This is the only time those 2 options are allowed.**
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, we have the right to refuse any sale for any reason.
You have 1 week after I tell you that your kit is ready to pickup, to either pickup or plan to pickup your kit. If you fail to contact us or respond, in that timeframe (of 1 week), you then forfeit the rabbit and the reservation fee will be kept. If we arrange for you to pickup your kit a certain day and you fail to meet with no explanation given, we will keep the reservation fee and re-list the kit. (We wait a full 24 hours to do this, just incase you had a real emergency occur. We are understanding and try to work with you) We refuse to have our time wasted and potentially stress out the kit for no reason.
Meeting*
Please bring a carrier or box to transport your rabbit back home in. We typically don't have extra boxes or carriers so please don't forget one. Each rabbit we sell will come with a ziplock baggie of transition pellets and hay to start you guys off. If you decide to transition pellet brands please make sure you transition properly or you put your kit at risk for bloat which can be deadly.
Transport*
I don't have the time to meet transports at local cities as of 2025. The only transport I will consider is Hooves to Paws transport, she is a door to door transport and the only one I will use. Pickup is in Gordonsville, Virginia via you, or Brittany with Hooves to Paws.
Can't take care of your rabbit anymore?
If you for any reason have to rehome your rabbit we can take him/her back as long as we have the space. In the event that we take the kit back, it would be given back to us - for free. You will not be judged if you have to rehome or return a kit; we understand things happen and the future is always changing. If you wish to return your bunny please shoot us a message. You are allowed to rehome or trade your rabbit(s) at any time with any individual you deem fit, but you must make sure it ends up in a good home.
Disclaimer*
It is the buyer/adopter's responsibility to inspect the rabbit at the time of the pickup. All of our rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge when they leave our care. Because we do not know how the rabbit is housed, fed, or handled, we are not responsible for any illnesses or death that may result at ANY time after the rabbit is out of our care.
We do check genders multiple times as the kits grow, you are responsible for checking when we meet. We do not refund for a mis-gendered rabbit. You are welcome to ask me at the time of pickup to re-check gender for you and I will happily do so.
